You've Got Mail!

I don’t know a child who doesn’t like receiving mail.  My son is on a first name basis with our mail carrier.  We wait for him every afternoon.  Because of this, our elf started a new tradition this year - mail-order shopping.  It was a huge hit! We will definitely repeat this again next season.

Apparently elves enjoy a little variety in their wardrobe too. Our elf ordered himself a complete new outfit and had it shipped to our house.  A little package arrived in our mailbox addressed to “Pip the Elf”. We brought it inside (where my son immediately ripped it open screaming “Package, Package!”) To our surprise we found a very stylish little outfit. We left it out that night and the next morning we found Pip modeling it for us.

Just in case anyone is wondering…Christmas elves and Ken dolls wear the same size.  Who knew!
